Deron Williams impressive in second game in Nets uniform

Deron Williams recorded 15 points and a whopping 17 assists in the Nets loss at Houston 123-108. Lopez added 21 points and Humphries had a double doube with 13 points and 11 assists. The Nets have lsot their first two games with Deron Williams but will have a chance to grab their first win with him in his home opener on Monday against the former Net Vince Carter and the Phoenix Suns. The Nets have a year and a half to convince Deron Wiliams to sign a contract extension and the way to do it is to simply sign another player of star caliber. The Nets have two players they will want to keep in their starting five in Deron Williams and Brook Lopez. Humphries is a decent power forward and can play with Williams and Lopez, so they need to sign a star shooting guard or maybe even a small forward. Deron Williams has already added a new energy to the team and will continue to do so during his time in New Jersey and maybe even Brooklyn in a couple of years.
