Another game in the Italian Serie A and a shock result leaves the visitors in dismay. After winning 1-0 against Italian giants and reigning champions Inter Milan last week at home, Juventus visited Lecce earlier today hoping to leave the stadium with a similar result. However things did not go the way they had hoped.
Italian international goal keeper Gianluigi Buffon received his marching orders (red card) due to a foul on an opposing player leaving his team down to ten men. Since he was ejected, a field player had to leave the game so a replacement goal keeper could take his place in goal. Milos Krasic was the player chosen to be ejected out of the game due to Buffon's mistake.
The home side took advantage of playing with an extra man when they took the lead in the 32nd minute thanks to a goal by Mesbah. The first half ended in this fashion and the second half began the same way but Juventus's day became even worse when Lecce doubled their advantage just three minutes into the second half when Bertolacci scored what would be the final goal of the game.
Juventus had forty two minutes to change the game in their favor but the man advantage proved too strong for the Turin giants. Their next game will be at home against Bologna on Saturday.
