The Carmelo Anthony trade saga has finally come to an end. 'Melo has been traded to the Knicks along with Chauncey Billups, Sheldon Williams, Anthony Carter, and Renaldo Balkman in exchange for Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, Ny's 2014 first round pick, and the Golden State Warrior's 2012 and 2013 first round picks as well.
The Knicks now cut two of their starters in Felton and Gallinari but added one time champion with Detriot Billups and all star guard Carmelo Anthony. Now the Knicks have two all star starters on their roster in Melo and Amare and next year they will hope to add one of three other all star players; Derron Williams (point guard) of the Utah Jazz, Chris Paul (point guard) of the New Orleans Hornets, and or Dwight Howard (center) of the Orlando Magic.
The Knicks now have an even better chance of cementing a place in the playoffs. When Amare and Melo learn how to play with one another, the Eastern Conference will be even more competitive.
