The first placed Chicago Bulls of the Eastern Conference visited the 4th placed Orlando Magic in a game that was virtually meaningless for the visitors since they have already clinched first in the East. However, this did not stop them from competing.
The Bulls 3rd year superstar Derrick Rose lead the way as point guard of the Chicago outfit with 39 points and 5 assists. Orlando were led by former Nets powerforward Ryan Anderson who had 28 points and added 10 rebounds.
The Bulls led 102-99 with a couple of seconds left on the clock and Jameer Nelson who is the point guard of the Magic shot the ball just after the buzzer from the three point line and drained the shot. The crowd went wild believing that their team just forced overtime however little did they know that the refs called the basket off giving the Bulls another win.
The NBA playoffs will begin on April 16th with the Bulls set to play against the Indiada Pacers and the Magic paired against the Atlanta Hawks. Both teams are expected to go through to the next round but in the NBA everyone knows that anything could happen.
